Questions
How do I climb?
Put a finger on the wall and drag down: the wall moves with you and you go up. When you run out of screen, put your other finger down and keep pulling, hand over hand. Swipe sideways to switch lanes. You can replay the tutorial any time in Settings (the gear on the title screen).
Why did I slide back down?
When you let go, or your stamina runs out near the top of a zone, you slide back to the last checkpoint. Checkpoints are at the start of every zone. An extra life (the heart on the title screen) saves you from one fall.
Where is my progress saved?
On your phone. Deleting the app also deletes your progress, so keep it installed while you update. Moving progress to a new phone isn't possible yet.
How do I change my leaderboard name?
Tap Ranks on the title screen, then Change name, or Random name for a new random one.
Why don't I see the leaderboards or rival flags?
They need an internet connection. Without one the game works fine; the boards and flags come back when you're online again.
Does UPSCROLL cost anything?
No. There are no ads and no purchases right now. Everything random, like the daily gift, is always free.
Which phones does it run on?
iPhone with iOS 15 or newer, and Android phones with Android 8.0 or newer.
Can you delete my data?
Yes. Email us your leaderboard nickname and we'll remove your entries. The privacy page explains what we store.
